SCRIPTURE: And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job 1:7
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The major aim of the battles of destiny is both the distraction and destruction of life and destiny.
It has been confirmed that there are things that fight the lives and destinies of people.
Job 1:7 says:
And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
The devil told God that he was going to and fro in the earth. His target at this point was Job; so, he was going from Job to Job.
It is important to understand that many times, the devil will not come to a man physically to present himself as the devil; he would not come to you and say, ‘see me, I am the devil’.
The devil is the faceless entity behind most battles of life. He does not present himself physically as the person behind the battles of life so you will not know he is the one behind the calamity you are going through.

Now, I want to let you know that the major aim of the battles of destiny is both the distraction and destruction of life and destiny. Battles come as distractions and ultimately destruction of life and destiny. The devil confronts us to take our focus off where we are going in life and in extreme cases, to finally end the lives of some people. But that will never be your portion.
So, be conscious of the fact that life is a battle, and you are victorious in that battle through Christ in Jesus’ Name.
REMEMBER THIS: The major aim of the battles of destiny is both the distraction and destruction of life and destiny.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Be conscious of the battles of life.
- Be battle ready always in order not to be taken by surprise.
- Determine to always remain in the Victory mode in Christ Jesus over the enemy in the battles of life.
PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for the grace to be battle ready spiritually. Help me not to be a victim of the battles of life. I ask for Your help to remain in victory over the enemy O LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
