TOPIC: Expressing God’s Sovereignty, Lordship And Almightiness Through Praise (Seeds Of Destiny 23 July 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Exodus 15:11.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be a real worshipper of God is to let God know that He is the Lord over your life.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2022 MESSAGE:

Praise is an essential ingredient in the journey of life. The Scripture makes it clear that praise is key to accessing the voice of God.

Acts 13:2-3 says,
One day as these men were worshiping and fasting the Holy Spirit said, “Dedicate Barnabas and Paul for a special job I have for them.” So after more fasting and prayer, the men laid their hands on them-and sent them on their way (TLB).

Praise is a trigger for the Voice of God. People of praise do not lack Divine Direction. This is because God speaks when praise is abundant.

Therefore, it is very important to understand what praise is all about in order to access the full benefits of it.

Now, what is praise?
Praise is the expression of God’s Sovereignty, Lordship and Almightiness over the life of man

Praise is the expression of God’s Lordship over a person’s life. To be a real worshipper of God is to let God know that He is the Lord over your life. Worship is the confirmation of God’s sovereignty over your life; genuine praise is a confirmation of God’s Lordship and Almightiness over the situations and affairs of your life. When you see a person who does not care to praise God, he is denying himself of the benefits of the Lordship of God over his life. One who murmurs denies the sovereignty of God over the affairs and situations of his life.

Remember this: To be a real worshipper of God is to let God know that He is the LORD over your life.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Make the Lordship of God over your life known to Him by engaging in genuine praise and appreciation to Him always.
2. Reject the temptation of letting any other thing be the lord of your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I declare that You are the LORD and RULER of my life. I receive the grace to worship You always thereby establishing Your Lordship over my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
