THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Love is eternally addicted to truth and forever allergic to lies.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
It is clear throughout scriptures that love is the most powerful force on the face of the earth.
Now, why is love the most powerful force on the face of the earth? God is love (1 John 4:8). So, love is God, and God is the most powerful force on the face of the earth. So, love is the most powerful force on earth.
And if love is that powerful, then it is important to walk in the realm of love. The question is, what are the practical details of love? Our knowledge of the characteristics of love will help us to walk in love. And today, we are looking at one of the characteristics of love: Love rejoices in truth.

A man wanted to marry and when they went to the family of the woman, he saw a little boy who was very playful and close to the woman he wanted to marry. He asked the woman, “Who is that boy?” She replied, “Oh! He is one of our nephews here,” Only for them to get married and the man later realised that the boy was the child the woman had out of wedlock. The woman deliberately refused to disclose this fact to the man. Terrible!
Beloved, love operates in truth, not in lies. People lie to others because they do not love them. Anyone could have made mistakes in the past, and if you have made a mistake in the past, your mistake cannot bury you in the present. It does not matter what your past is, God has prepared someone who can accommodate that past. That is how our God works. So, it is better to be real. Love is eternally addicted to truth and forever allergic to lies. Love rejoices when truth and justice win.
Beloved, love is life (1 John 3:14). Walk in love because love affects life, both in time and in eternity.
REMEMBER THIS: Love is eternally addicted to truth and forever allergic to lies.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Live in truth and express truth always.
- Ask for mercy wherever you have told a lie.
- Ask God for the grace to be truthful, and to love the brethren.
PRAYER: Lord, let Your love be expressed through me to everyone around me. I refuse to walk in lies. Help me to walk in truth, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
